Social Media for Writers

Social Media - it's a must in the publishing industry these days for writers. So what social media are necessary for fiction writers and how do you divide the personal and private sides when online? This month's issue of Writers Digest has a great article titled, "The Price of Privacy" by Tim Beyers. I couldn't find the article online to link to it, except the issue order page which I've listed here:  Writers Digest But there's a quote in the article that defined it nicely: "The bottom line of social media is not to sell and promote books, but to create relationships with readers," Gardner says [referring to literary agent Rachelle Gardner].
